Electric Devices
Electric Device Usage
In the years when there was no electricity information yet, people were only aware of the impact of the electric fish. In ancient Egyptian writings dating from 2750 BC, this fish is referred to as “The Thunder of the Nile” (Ing. “Thunderer of the Nile”) and is described as the “guardian” of other fish.
Today, our producers have to comply with the requirements of the “Electrical Equipment Designed for Use Within Specific Voltage Limits” (2014/35 / EU) in order for the electrical devices they produce to be offered to the market safely by protecting human, nature and animal health.
This regulation; This standard covers electrical equipment designed to be used in rated voltages ranging from 50 volts to 1000 volts for alternating current and from 75 volts to 1500 volts for direct current. As in other EU regulations, they have to prepare a Technical File to meet the basic safety requirements in the Annex of this regulation for products covered by this regulation. The technical dossier should be able to allow the appreciation and designated compliance of electrical equipment in accordance with the requirements of this Regulation.
With regard to such assessments, the technical file should contain the following information about the design, manufacture and operation of electrical equipment.
General description of electrical equipment.
Conceptual design and manufacturing drawings, and assembly diagrams, partial assemblies, circuit diagrams, etc. The necessary definitions and explanations for the operation of electrical equipment, the aforementioned manufacturing drawings and understanding of the schemes.
List of standards applied to the device, in whole or in part, definitions of methods applied to ensure the safety provisions of this Regulation, when standards are not applied.
Results of design calculations, inspections, etc. made.
Experiment reports
The manufacturer or his authorized representative must keep a copy of the CE declaration of conformity along with the technical file.
The manufacturer shall take all necessary measures to ensure that the manufactured electrical equipment complies with the technical file mentioned in paragraph 2 of this Annex and the provisions of this Regulation.
