What is Ambient Measurements ?

According to Article 10 of the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, which came into force after it was published in the Official Gazette dated 30.06.2012 and numbered 28339, the necessary control, measurement, examination and determination of the risks faced by the employers in terms of occupational health and safety is responsible for ensuring that research is carried out.

In addition, as per article 5 of the Regulation on Occupational Hygiene Measurement, Testing and Analysis Laboratories published in the Official Gazette dated 20.08.2013 and numbered 28741 and entered into force as of 20.02.2014; employers are obliged to protect employees from the hazards and harmful effects of substances found in the workplace, used or treated in any way and working environment conditions. In order to provide a safe working environment, it is obliged to have the laboratories with pre-qualification or qualification certificates for measurements, tests, analyzes and evaluations for personal exposures in the working environment or physical, chemical and biological factors for the working environment. Records of all work hygiene measurement, test, analysis and evaluation results made in accordance with the provisions of this Regulation should be kept in the workplace to be displayed when requested in the inspections.
