What is Construction materials ?
Building materials defined as Directive; It includes all materials or tooling materials that are produced and put on the market for permanent use in all kinds of construction works or any part of the works in question, and their performance affects their performance related to the main requirements of the building works.
Here you can access the Regulation on Building Materials Directives 305/2011 / EU, which is also known as CPD on July 1, 2013, from 89/106 / EC Building Materials Directives. The new directives in addition to the old format until the European Economic Area also includes Turkey and Switzerland.
Building materials (construction materials) defined by this directive; It includes all materials or tool materials that are produced, put on the market, and whose performance affects their performance related to the basic requirements of the building works, in all kinds of construction works or in any part of those works. It is also possible to think of building materials as all immovable parts of the building as all components.
All products that are within the scope of harmonized standards or that do not have harmonized standards, but whose European Technical Approval is published, have to be CE marked.

The Regulation on Building Materials of the 305/2011 / EU has changed some of the concepts in the old directives and introduced some new concepts. Some of them are in the following format,
The definition of ‘Confirmation of Conformity Systems’ has been replaced by the ‘Verification of Performance Invariance (PDDD)’ systems.
PDDD systems form the systems table, which is given in the Annex V section of the directives and put on the market at the stage of CE marking of products (such as manufacturers, distributors, authorized representatives) and the duties and responsibilities of the Notified Body.
The Declaration of Performances is the version of the ‘Declaration of Conformity’, described in older directives, developed, renewed and a little more detailed.
Declaration of Performance is a document that will realize the main characteristics of the products to be supplied to the market. It must be kept for at least 10 years to be presented when requested by customers (distributor or user) or authorized bodies.
Under the said regulation, all types of structural metal products (Aluminum and Steel Profiles) are used with many different purposes, with structural chemicals such as mastic-like sealants, marbles, natural stones, bathroom and kitchen materials, water and heat.
