Laboratory Services

What is Laboratory Services?

The occupational health and safety legislation stipulates that enterprises are required to make workplace measurements when necessary. It is the job of the employer to protect the employees in the workplace from the factors that are less or less than necessary. This can only be accomplished with workplace measurements.

Article 10 of the Law on Occupational Health and Safety obliges employers to conduct studies to determine the risks that employees may be exposed to in the workplace environment.

As stated in the Regulation on Labor Hygiene Measurement, Testing and Analysis Laboratories published on August 20, 2013, employers are obliged to make the workplace environment compatible with the standards and to make these measurements if necessary.

WHAT ARE THE WORKPLACE MEDIA MEASUREMENTS?

The Occupational Health and Safety Act stipulates the identification, measurement and elimination of the hazards that employees are exposed to in the workplace. These hazards can be caused by excess or lack of foreign substances in the environment.

In cases where the non-conformity of the substances cannot be determined as a result of the Risk Assessment carried out, it is necessary to make environmental measurements.

WHAT ARE THE WORKPLACE MEDIA MEASUREMENTS?

Measurements are divided into working environment and personal exposure. Work environment measurements take into account the occupational hygiene of the environment, while personal exposure measures determine how long a worker is exposed to the health-threatening factor throughout the day.
